Children's Sewing Lessons
We now teach more than 30 children a week, with no more then 4 in a class, and all on our great Janome sewing machines. Our Mantra is “ENJOY THE PROCESS”
HERE IS A LIST OF SOME OF THE CHILDREN’S MAKE are you ready here goes… lined bags, pencil cases, bunting , cushions, roll up pencil cases, dog bandanas, purses, bucket hats, shorts, pj’s, quilting, dresses, circle skirts, a-line skirts, buys summer shirt, pinafore dresses , rucksack without a pattern, and lots of free motion pictures.
Phew that’s just what I remember at the moment.
Adult Beginners Adult Classes
These classes are great if you have never been on a machine before, at these classes you will start off with a lined bag, all the while you will be getting to know how to use a sewing machine (your or ours).
The fabrics for the bag are included, once you have finished the bag you can go on to make other things with the tutors guidance.
Adult Beginners Quilting Classes
These classes are great if you have never been on a machine before, at these classes you will start off with a lined bag, all the while you will be getting to know how to use a sewing machine (your or ours). There are two classes and they are run every 2 weeks
Adult Intermediate Quilting Classes
If you are patchworking all ready and want to expand your quilting knowledge then this is the perfect class for you
with Sue, she will help you with everything from cutting, sub cutting to making up your very own patterns, these classes are every 2 weeks on a Wednesday evening.
1 to 1 Lessons
Our adult lessons are perfect if you have something specific you would like to learn, we can also help you in these lessons if you wish to learn how to use a machine (yours or ours)
Our lessons are still at the great price of £20 an hour with Joanne (specializing in beginners) and have been since we opened the shop in Keighley.
Please note our more advanced lessons with our quilting and clothing tutors are now £25 an hour.
