sleeveless version with single skirt
pulling the back through from the front
This is the smallest dress with flounce sleeves and made in a fine needle cord. Can you see how the sleeve and side seams have been bound in a fine cotton and hand stitched down on the under arm seam.
The bottom of the picture shows how we bound the waist seam too in the same fabric and hand stitched down
it just looks so much better then overlocking .
This is a veiw up the flounce with bound seams
See the large stitch for top stitching?
Double gather stitch for the skirt sew at 0.75cm and 1.25cm then stich the skirt to the bodice in the middle of the gather stitch.
Sewn around the neck and arms
Snip into seam allowance so its easier to turn.
Bodice turned to the right side for the leeveless version.
